M/s Popular Steel Industries is the vision of Mr.Chanchal Jit Singh, a first generation entrepreneur, son of a librarian, started his first business of photocopying with an investment of Rs. 1500 and a loan of Rs.15000 from State Bank of India in 1980 after two year stint in Iran doing odd jobs. In 1984, his brother Mr Jaswinder Singh joined him after getting practical training of Electronics for two years.
